About Us
We are training the next generation of footwear designers in the timeless art of shoe making. We use the latest lean product development and design thinking methods while always keeping a strong focus on the question of sustainability in everything we do to empower the future.
DAVID SAMS
Founder
Persuing a passion for women’s couture heels and handbags. David has taken his 25+ years experience in art direction and design in both digital and print as well as focuses in operations, management and fine art, in a new direction.
David holds a MFA in Communication Design from Otis College of Art and Design. Working with surf brands lured him from engineering school to art school where he eventually found a niche in the Los Angeles entertainment industry. From large website firms to ad agencies he refined his directorial skills before moving up to the bay area to lead creative teams at Apple Inc. in the iTunes / Apple Music groups. David is a well-rounded creative that understands the importance of order, technology and the psychology of great design. He also enjoys making short travel films, photography and air-cooled Volkswagens.
