WELCOME TO THE SAN ANTONIO MINES

Hello! My parents and their parents and I have all been life long collectors, especially artifacts from the old west. Most of the collection we have dates back more than 100 years.

 

Our family used to take seasonal trips out to ghost towns and ore mining locations all over California, Nevada and Arizona to hunt rock and precious metals. My father specifically noticed that in the 70's many of the sites were being destroyed by vandals or just blown up with shotguns. So, he started filling up his truck and bringing things he found in the desert back to our house in San Diego. After about 40 years we pretty much had a complete ghost town of our own in the backyard. He was on the news and in the paper for the collection...

 

Well, my father has past and my mom and I have decieded it's time to sell the family house. There's no way we can take it all, so we want to find a good home for our prized possessions from the past. Some of the things we have, in general, are an apothecary and general store, blacksmith shop, mining equipment, tools, wagons and farming equipment. We have a saloon inside the house filled with framed vintage photos and art as well as old guns, surfboards, slot machines, pinball, typewriters, musical instruments, cameras, a barbers chair too, coin op and a guess your weight machine and hundreds of pieces of John Wayne memorabilia oh my!
